Jennifer Lopez Says She’s ‘Done’ With Marriage After Multiple Trips Down the Aisle

The superstar’s lighthearted yet telling remark comes just months after her high-profile split from Ben Affleck.

Jennifer Lopez has officially closed the chapter on weddings—at least for now. During her This Is Me…Now: The Tour stop in Bilbao, Spain, on Wednesday, the 55-year-old entertainer couldn’t help but laugh when a fan held up a sign reading, “J. Lo, marry me?”

With a playful shrug, Lopez responded, “I think I’m done with that. I’ve tried that a few times.” The crowd erupted in cheers, and the moment quickly went viral, with fans praising her candidness. One social media user shared the clip on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “She is soooo real for this.”

Lopez’s quip follows her recent divorce from Ben Affleck—her fourth marriage—which was finalized in February 2025. Notably, she filed the paperwork herself, without legal representation, just five months prior.

The couple’s romance was one of Hollywood’s most talked-about love stories, spanning over two decades. They first got engaged in 2002 after meeting on the set of Gigli, rekindled their relationship in 2021, and married in a lavish ceremony in July 2022. However, by early 2024, rumors swirled about trouble in paradise, and Affleck reportedly moved out of their Beverly Hills home in May. By August, TMZ confirmed they were “discussing divorce as an option.”

Though they’ve since parted ways, the exes are still navigating the sale of their shared mansion, which was recently taken off the market.

Before Affleck, Lopez was married three times: to Ojani Noa (1997–1998), Cris Judd (2001–2003), and Marc Anthony (2004–2014), with whom she shares 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme. She was also engaged to Alex Rodriguez from 2017 to 2021 and has had high-profile relationships with Sean “Diddy” Combs, Casper Smart, and Drake.

Despite her personal challenges, Lopez has been thriving on tour, which launched earlier this month and runs through August 10. Fans have been particularly moved by her emotional performance of “Wreckage of You,” a new song many believe reflects her recent heartbreak.

For now, it seems J.Lo is focused on her music, her fans, and moving forward—with or without a ring on her finger.
