Khloe Kardashian recently joined the growing list of celebrities seeking innovative medical treatments south of the border—and she couldn’t be more enthusiastic about the results.

The reality TV star took to Instagram to share her positive experience with stem cell therapy, a treatment she received in Mexico.

“I’m in awe of the science and so hopeful for the future,” Khloe shared. “My dream is that one day treatments like this will be accessible and affordable to everyone, everywhere.”

It’s no secret that the Kardashians are early adopters of cutting-edge wellness procedures. Following in the footsteps of her sister Kim, who traveled to Mexico for stem cell treatment on a shoulder injury, Khloe decided to explore the same regenerative therapy. She visited Dr. Adeel Khan, a physician known in celebrity circles for his work in regenerative medicine. His clinic, Eterna, has also attracted A-listers like Chris Hemsworth and Zac Efron.

Khloe emphasized the benefits she’s noticed since the treatment, especially given her active lifestyle. “I work out five days a week, so having something to help with recovery, inflammation, and overall wellness is next level,” she wrote. “Not to mention the bonus of anti-aging—maybe my favorite perk.”

While stem cells are currently FDA-approved in the U.S. for certain conditions, such as blood cancers and immune disorders, their use for sports recovery, anti-aging, and inflammation is still considered experimental domestically—which is why many Americans are looking abroad for access.

Still, the public response to Khloe’s announcement was mixed. While many fans expressed support, others felt the post highlighted the gap between the healthcare experiences of the wealthy and the average person.

“I love the Kardashians, but ALL of their healthcare-related posts are so out of touch,” one comment read.

Another user wrote, “Good to know billionaires can afford to live a long healthy happy life. I’ll go sit in my corner struggling with debilitating Lyme disease because I can’t afford health insurance…”

Just weeks earlier, Kim Kardashian shared a similar experience with the same doctor, detailing how stem cell therapy helped resolve her chronic shoulder and back pain. She described the treatment as “a game-changer” but also acknowledged the current barriers to access, reminding followers that such procedures aren’t yet widely available in the U.S.

Zac Efron and Chris Hemsworth have also posted about their positive outcomes with Dr. Khan’ clinic, though Hemsworth did not share specifics regarding his treatment.

As regenerative medicine continues to evolve, so does the conversation around its accessibility—and whether emerging therapies will remain available only to those who can afford to travel and pay out-of-pocket, or eventually become part of mainstream medical care.
