The 21-year-old content creator publicly criticized her father just as the actor is promoting his new memoir, ‘The Book of Sheen,’ and an upcoming Netflix documentary, ‘aka Charlie Sheen.’

Sami Sheen is speaking out about her strained relationship with her father, actor Charlie Sheen.
On Wednesday, the daughter of Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards posted a TikTok video seemingly criticizing her father. Her post came in response to a recent People magazine cover story where Sheen promoted his memoir and a new Netflix documentary.
In the clip, Sami stitched a TikTok from People in which Charlie, 60, played a game called “Phone a Friend.” The “Two and a Half Men” star was asked which friend he would call when he needed a laugh, a pep talk, and more.
After watching a segment where Charlie was asked, “Who do you call if you just need a laugh?”, Sami turned to the camera with a sarcastic comment.

“Hmm. I’m gonna say… anyone but your daughter?” she replied, before laughing as the video ended.
In the full version of the People video, Charlie named his brother, Emilio Estevez, as the person he would call.
This isn’t the first time Sami has addressed the distance between them. Earlier this year, she revealed on Gia Giudice’s “Casual Chaos” podcast that she had cut off contact with her father after growing “frustrated” with his behavior.
“We haven’t spoken on the phone in almost a year, and we haven’t texted in a little over six months,” she shared.
She explained that their relationship had already been fading due to Charlie’s busy schedule. But what finally led her to cut ties was his reaction to her rhinoplasty surgery.
“I was really mad that he couldn’t even call me or anything to see if I made it out of surgery,” Sami said.
According to her, Charlie texted her 24 hours later with a casual, “Oh, did you make it out okay?”

She responded, “I could have been dead by now, but yeah, I’m fine.”
That exchange quickly escalated. “He was saying stuff like, ‘Oh, it’s not like you got a new kidney. You’re fine,’” Sami recalled. “I was like, ‘Okay, thank you for making this worse.’”
What started as a disagreement soon “tumbled into something really big,” leading Sami to consciously distance herself.
She emphasized that while the surgery wasn’t life-threatening, what she needed was emotional support—which she didn’t receive.
Things reached a point where Sami decided to block her father after what she described as repeated “crazy” messages.
“I’ve had him blocked for a minute now. I had to block his email as well,” she revealed. “He actually got a new number on Christmas to text me other crazy stuff, so I had to block that number too.”
Eventually, she told him directly: “Do not contact me ever again because this is crazy.”
Sami is the first daughter of Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards. The former couple also has another daughter, Lola, 20. Charlie is also father to 16-year-old twins Max and Bob from his marriage to Brooke Mueller, and has a 41-year-old daughter, Cassandra Estevez, from a previous relationship.
