Meghan Markle Cheers Dodgers’ World Series Victory as Prince Harry Laments Blue Jays’ Loss

The Duchess of Sussex pulled back the curtain on her and Prince Harry’s sleek home theater, where the couple tuned in for the high-stakes Game 7 of the World Series.

As the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched the 2025 World Series title, Meghan Markle was over the moon—while Prince Harry was clearly nursing disappointment for his beloved Toronto Blue Jays. On Saturday, November 1, Meghan shared a snippet to her Instagram Stories capturing the dramatic 5-4 Dodgers win over the Blue Jays. When the final out landed on screen, she let out an excited squeal, leaned over to kiss a glum-looking Harry, then continued celebrating alongside their friend Kelly McKee Zajfen.

Harry’s loyalty to the Blue Jays was undeniable—he sat out the festivities entirely. Kelly echoed that allegiance when she reshared Meghan’s Story, writing, “Best game EVER!!! Sorry H, your team came up short but mine CRUSHED it @dodgers I’m obsessed with you!!!”

The post also gave fans a peek at the couple’s cozy at-home viewing spot. The theater room features plush recliners perfect for relaxing, plus what appears to be a built-in popcorn maker—small buckets of the snack sat beside Harry and Kelly during the game.

This isn’t the first time the pair has shown love for the Dodgers. They rocked LA Dodgers caps just weeks earlier, sitting front row at Dodger Stadium for Game 4. Their seats put them directly in front of baseball icon Sandy Koufax and NBA legend Magic Johnson. Meghan documented the “date night” on her Stories, sharing a clip of Harry cheering on the Dodgers before the two enjoyed a classic Dodger Dog.

Back then, Harry faced some criticism for backing the Dodgers instead of the Blue Jays, given his ties to Canada through the Commonwealth. Could that backlash have prompted a team switch? It certainly seems like Harry was all in for the Blue Jays this time around.
