On the latest episode of her Let’s Be Honest podcast, the reality TV star and entrepreneur shared that she’s entering a new chapter. “Lately I’ve been in this really unique headspace. It feels like a turning point—I’m fired up, excited, but also kind of rebellious,” Cavallari explained. “And that’s actually a pretty familiar feeling for me.”

To direct that energy in a constructive way, she decided to make some changes. First up: deleting TikTok from her phone. Though her account remains active, she’s no longer scrolling through the app. Cavallari said the move is about taking control over what—and who—she allows into her life.
“We all get to choose what we let in,” she noted. “We can filter what content we see, who gets access to us, and whose opinions matter.” She realized that TikTok, in particular, was overwhelming her with constant information and other people’s viewpoints—something she was absorbing almost subconsciously.

Along the same lines, Cavallari also decided to change her phone number. “Protecting my inner peace is everything,” she said. “I’ve worked really hard to create a calm, peaceful life, and I’m not going to let anything disrupt that.”
She admitted she’s been in a “weird funk” ever since the recent press tour for her podcast and TV show, Honestly Cavallari. Being in the spotlight left her feeling overly exposed—flooded with opinions and energy from all directions.
What made things trickier was her TikTok algorithm, which—thanks to her high profile—kept showing her videos about herself. “It drives me crazy,” she confessed. Though she tries not to read comments online, she still ends up seeing some, and realized she needed to draw stronger boundaries.
Cavallari also critiqued social media more broadly, calling it a platform that often preys on insecurity. “It makes us question things we’d never normally doubt,” she said, citing viral fear-based topics like mold toxicity. “We’ve lost the ability to listen to ourselves.”
She described phones overall as a “numbing agent,” pulling people away from their own thoughts. That’s part of why she not only changed her number, but was very intentional about who received the new one. “If you’re meant to be in my life, you’ll find a way to reach me,” she said.
As for her podcast, Cavallari clarified that she’s only taking a short break. She plans to use the time offline to play board games with her three kids—Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor—and even learn Italian.
She wrapped up by thanking listeners for their support and hinted at her return: she’ll be recording episodes for The Hills podcast as soon as she’s back from hiatus.
